Projects

Python animations for nanomagnetism applications

Sep 2020 – Dec 2021 · Universidad Mayor

Vertically Integrated Project where I developed animations that represent nanomagnetism phenomena and applications involving cellular automata. Created programmatically using Python with open-source libraries and tools including Blender, NumPy, OpenCV, and Anaconda. Worked alongside researchers from the DAiTA Lab Research Center.

Data-Driven Quantum Circuit Learning Implementation in Qiskit

Sep 2021

Variational quantum circuit made with Qiskit that maps a randomly generated set of four 4-qubit input states to four 4-qubit output states. An implementation of the hybrid quantum-classical framework DDQCL (Data-Driven Quantum Circuit Learning), where circuit parameters are refined over time to get the lowest cost parameter set.

Vocería de Géneros y Sexualidades UMayor — Co-Founder

Aug 2017 – May 2020

Student organization where we created safe spaces with a feminist, LGBTQI+ inclusive approach within the different campuses of Universidad Mayor. Developed a project that won 1st place in the Gender Diversity Summer School (Jan 2019), participated in the triestamental roundtables to create protocols for cases of abuse and sexual harassment, and worked on the formalization of the use of transgender students’ names.
